Pick Your Own farms and orchards are a popular get away in New York during the Autumn. Below are some of the best in the Hudson Valley.
Fall in New York is the time for watching the leaves turn, post-season baseball (usually), and of course, apple picking. The Hudson Valley is famed for its rich farmland, perfect for growing and picking apples, pumpkins, pears, and many others. Here are some New York Pick Your Own farms.
Duchess County

Orange County

Orchards of Concklin-- This farm was established in 1712, making it one of the oldest in the Hudson Valley. Pick your own produce is available Weekends from 9AM - 5PM. Try their delicious Apple Cider Donuts. Rte 45 & South Mountain Rd Pomona, NY (845) 354-0369

Ulster County
Minard Farms-- Minard Farms is very accessible, only about 2.5 miles from exit 18 on the NYS Thruway (I-87) and historic New Paltz. Weed Orchards-- Weed Orchards offers pick your own apples, pumpkins, grape, tomatoes, pumpkins, and others.
