Canada's Wonderland's Roller CoastersTallest and Fastest Coasters in Canada are Just North of Toronto, ON
If you're crazy about roller coasters, Canada's Wonderland offers a selection of 15 different coaster rides. Behemoth is their newest hypercoaster addition.
The Behemoth is presently the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Canada. It goes up to 70 meters high (230 feet) and speeds reach 125 kilometers (77 miles an hour). The ride lasts a little over 3 minutes with the highest climbs at the start. There is a 75 degree drop that seems like it’s straight down. If you arrive at Canada’s Wonderland early enough you can hear crowds chanting Bohemoth and racing to be the first on the ride after the gates open.
If you want to hit them all you might need two days to do it depending on how busy the park gets. If you arrive early, get in line for your favorite because a couple hours later the waiting time doubles. Other roller coasters at Canada’s Wonderland
The Time Warp is a flying coaster where you lay on your stomach and are suspended from an overhanging car. It looks very intense so it’s surprising that it’s only rated a 4.
Flight Deck is Canada’s first inverted roller coaster.
If you tire of the roller coasters, Canada’s Wonderland has 330 acres full of fun including more rides, a 20 acre water park, plays, musicals, games and more. It’s conveniently located in Vaughan, Ontario, just minutes from Toronto. Sources: Canada's Wonderland, 2008, List of Canada's Wonderland Roller Coasters, Wikipedia
