Disney vacations make ideal family vacations. But deciding which Disney Park to visit can be a challenge. Find out Disney park locations, offerings and ticket prices.

Each Disney park has its pros and cons. This is a breakdown of Disney resorts:

Disneyworld in Orlando

  • Location - Situated in Orlando, Disneyworld has become a hub for family travelers. You have the beach, numerous other theme parks and endless things to do with the kids.
  • Park offerings - Featuring four different theme parks and two water parks, Disneyworld in Orlando is the ultimate Disney theme park.
  • Ticket price - Pricing out one-day tickets for two adults and just a single child, it came to nearly $200. Go for 7-day tickets with three kids, and it runs nearly $1,000.

Disneyland in Anaheim

  • Location - The location in Anaheim makes it great for a family vacation, as you are in close proximity to several Orange County, California beaches, and fun theme parks and attractions in the Los Angeles area.
  • Park offerings - Disneyland Park is packed with all the expected rides, attractions, restaurants and shops. Disney's California Adventure Park is a miniature version of the state, featuring everything from the gold rush to the Hollywood glitterati.
  • Ticket price - You can get one-day single-park tickets at the gate for about $180 for parents and a child, or a five-day park hopper pass for around $800.

Disneyland Resort Paris

  • Location - Well, this could easily be this Disney resort's best feature. It is about 30 miles from Paris, with nearly an endless supply of things for everyone in the family to do.
  • Park offerings - Besides the standard Disney park, the Paris resort also features Walt Disney Studio Park, the Disney Village entertainment district and Lake Disney.
  • Ticket price - Two adults and a child would pay 87 euros (just over $100) for one day. It costs 375 euros (about $470) for parents and three kids for a three-day pass.

Tokyo Disney Resort

  • Location - This Disney resort is in Tokyo, the seat of the Japanese government and a major metropolitan area with 35 million people.
  • Park offerings - The Disney park, as well as the Ikspiari dining, shopping and entertainment district.
  • Ticket prices - A one-day pass for parents and a child costs 15,500 yen (about $125). Parents and three children getting a four-day pass will pay 61,500 yen (about $500).

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

  • Location - Situated in China, this is at the heart of some amazing attractions and history. There will be plenty for the family to do outside of Disneyland.
  • Park offerings - As Disney's newest park, the Hong Kong location is certainly no Disney World. But it does feature a park, Inspiration Lake and an arboretum.
  • Ticket prices - A one-day pass for a child and parents runs around 800 Hong Kong dollars (about $100). They don't offer special multi-day passes.
