I was a bit surprised to see the top dream family vacation was, by far, seeing the U.S. by RV. Have you traveled with kids by RV? Or do you want to?

I've introduced my niece to the wonders of my RV. Now she wants one for her own...even if only to use a private room. No kidding, she really loves my RV. I love it too.

I've thought about taking the kids RV'ing but the RV's I remember weren't exactly up to current safety standards. I remember them as having bench-like seats and few seat-belts. Are they safer now? Another consideration is the cost of gas *yikes*

Do you know if they have more safety features? Like, with kids, I would want to know if I can install car seats in the back... I wouldn't want babies just sitting loose back there in bouncy seats... heheh.

you can do anything with RVs these days. They are incredible. You just tell the dealer what kind of travel you are looking for (ie - a family-safe RV) and presto - they show you the latest advances. Anything you can have a worry about, they have solved. This is big business these days.
